1. Remove the bean reservoir and the top part of the mill.
2. Remove cap of dial with fingernails. Use hook and pliers to pull off dial knob. Pay attention, needs a lot of force.
3. Remove the two caps at the ends of the button row with a small flathead screwdriver. Unscrew the two uncovered screws.
4. Use a thin plastic lever to create a gap and unclip the top of the panel. When all is unclipped the panel can be pulled off to the front.
5. Now four screws become visible underneath the panel. Remove these and the three on the back.
6. Now insert the plastic lever along the left, right, and front gap of the top cover and unclip it all around. The machine is open!
7. In my case the studs of the portafilter holder were broken. I removed them and added a new bracket to hold the portafilter in place.
